These experiences help them better understand and interact with their surroundings, and stimulate their creativity. Our aim is to nurture well-rounded individuals with strong faith and the potential to become successful leaders.
The curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies to prepare students for kindergarten.
Introduction to the Holy Qur'an and Arabic starts with the Al-Qaida Noorania and learning the Arabic letters through various methods such as visual, audio, and sensory tools. Emphasis is placed on letter recognition and proper pronunciation using tajweed. The program also includes memorization of the last few surahs of Juz 30. The students rotate between learning centers to increase exposure to Arabic sounds and letters. A variety of teaching tools, such as flashcards, hands-on activities, painting, Montessori materials, and others, are used to enhance the learning experience.
Students' daily routines include practicing Islamic manners and principles, such as greetings, gratitude, recitation of Surah al-Fatiha, daily du'as, and others. Islamic Studies involves learning about manners taught through Qur'an and Sunnah, stories of the Prophets, and the development of leadership, good manners, and other life skills. Basic Arabic is taught and practiced to help students become comfortable with the language, including learning nouns and verbs, and exchanging simple sentences.
