Saturday School

The Saturday School Program at Al Bayan Learning Center takes place from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, welcomes both male and female students aged 4 to 16. Our aim is to foster a love of learning and impart Islamic values, morals, and principles through Qur'an, Arabic, and Islamic studies. We believe it's important to cultivate a supportive environment that emphasizes practical and meaningful Islamic knowledge.

To ensure individualized attention and support, students are divided into smaller groups during lessons. Additionally, the program features a variety of extracurricular and fun outdoor activities to create a well-rounded educational experience.

The program prioritizes students' familiarity with the Qur'an through the use of visual, audio, and sensory tools in teaching the Arabic letters, with a focus on recognition and proper pronunciation (tajweed). Students also begin memorizing the final surahs of Juz 30 and receive instruction in Islamic Studies to establish a strong foundation. The Islamic Studies curriculum includes teachings on manners based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, stories of the Prophets, and their lessons in success, leadership, and good manners. In addition to the core curriculum, the program also includes activities such as art and crafts, story time, and learning Islamic phrases for greeting and gratitude.
